Operational Workflows in MIDLA

MIDLA allows you to manage different operational workflows depending on the type of service provided by each company.

Depending on the operating model, the available workflows may correspond to Warehouse, Courier, or a combined Courier / Warehouse model.

Types of operations available in MIDLA

Warehouse

The Warehouse workflow is designed for the reception, registration, preparation, and grouping of cargo that physically arrives at the warehouse.

It can be used by courier companies, companies that provide international mailbox services, and other individuals or companies that need to manage cargo from a warehouse.

The main available operations are:

  • Pre-Alerts / Reception
  • Consolidations
  • Operations
  • Master Shipment

Courier

The Courier workflow is designed to manage international shipments and the information required for the import process.

It is mainly intended for companies that provide international mailbox services and other individuals or companies that manage courier operations.

The main available operations are:

  • Master Shipment
  • Import Declaration

Courier / Warehouse

The Courier / Warehouse model combines both workflows and allows cargo to be managed from its reception at the warehouse through the corresponding courier processes.

It is designed for companies that need to manage both warehouse operations and courier operations within MIDLA.

The main available operations are:

  • Pre-Alerts / Reception
  • Consolidations
  • Operations
  • Master Shipment
  • Import Declaration

Which Workflow Should You Use?

The appropriate workflow depends on the operations performed by each company within MIDLA:

  • Warehouse: when cargo reception and preparation need to be managed within the warehouse.
  • Courier: when operations are focused on the Master Shipment and Import Declaration.
  • Courier / Warehouse: when both types of operations are managed within the same workflow.

Based on this classification, each process has its own step-by-step operational guide.
